We found Sensi in both places we went this past weekend. I think that warrants a post:

I went to this warehouse in North Philly a while back and snagged this pic fro DHYZ.
I’ve been told by more than one person that Philly has the best hands, so when we hit up North Philly to see if anything new had surfaced, I decided to snap a few.
A few months ago, Pipelines and myself got to head over to 6th & Cecil B. Moore. On the side of this building was an awesome mural that had Neo-Geo Evangelion painted on the side, which has been around for at least 4 years, if not longer. I remembered a friend of mine posting photos and I immediately fell in love with it. Sadly, the original piece is gone, but the replacement is still incredibly sweet!
From Uncle Moneybags from Monopoly to the awesome Tex Avery-style bears to even The Hungry Caterpillar, this piece is full of some of the coolest characters around! The colors are amazingly vibrant and fun, and really, I don’t know what else there is for me to say about it! Its always a joy whenever the owners of a building let the artists do something amazing to bring life to a community! Dudes, keep it up!
Some stuff in Kensington, along the rail lines and in a tow yard nearby:
We found some wild stuff under a bridge a while ago.
Part of a larger piece at the res. A taste of what’s to come.
At an abandoned train station in North Philly
While wondering around Cecil B. Moore in North Philly, we spotted this piece by Kas in an abandoned lot.
While roaming through the urban jungles of North Philly, we came across this near the locally-famous “Graffiti Garden” (More on that later!). Its a beautiful wall, and I say check it out for yourself if you ever get the chance!
This sign was in North Philly around a ton of great Street Art.
I always dig seeing more and more sexy women depicted in street art, so this awesome sticker incorporating Wild Style was a great find along North Broad Street!
Those Dancing Bandits are at it again, dancing on the steps of the Divine Lorraine.
Anime reference time:
These were part of a large mural at near Cecil B Moore. I like it when people actually let artists paint these things. What comes out is awesome.
While Pipelines and myself were trying to get some shots on Cecil B. Moore in North Philly, we stumbled upon 3 old-school taggers hitting up a spot around 7th street. We spoke to them for a bit, and we plan on spilling some details in the next few weeks. After the Hurricane, we’ll (hopefully) be able to get more about all of this.
For now, enjoy the results of their labor and SMURF IT UP!
